Cacartu are five best friends from the Macedon Ranges who formed a band in high school and continued, despite better advice.
Two new songs mark moments of inflection - charting journeys, and basking in stasis. They build on the band's long term commitment to textural grooves that draw on blues, neo-soul and jazz.
