Violinist and singer-songwriter, Xani is about to embark on her first regional tour in years. She loves nothing more than performing live on stage and she’s ready to get back out there to share some new music.
Accompanying her on this tour is Xani’s brand new single ‘Dreaming of You’; a dreamy disco-pop sensation from her forthcoming album ‘An Inaccurate History of Electronic Dance Music’. This new track features Xani’s signature strings inspired by the disco-era, alongside her collaborator’s tasty contributions of drums and bongoes (Justin Olsson), bass (Isaac Barter), and everything else (Liam McGorry).
Xani returns to regional Victoria this July to reacquaint herself with trees, wide open spaces and delightful baked goods. Get on board and treat yourself to some eclectic violin sounds, catchy songs and mesmerising foot work from one of Australia’s most-loved musicians. Xani has toured Japan, appeared on ABC’s RocKwiz, played the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and performed in the multi-award winning musicals Come From Away and Girl From the North Country. Xani has also played with a diverse group of well-loved songwriters including Clare Bowditch, Tim Rogers, Thando, Kate Ceberano, Jens Lekman and Jordie Lane.

With a voice described as ‘truly astonishing’ by Rolling Stone, Anna Smyrk is a powerful singer and song-maker. Her songs are anthemic indie bombshells, equally satisfying for word nerds and pop-hook obsessives alike. She’s having a massive year and comes to Major Tom’s fresh off the back of touring in Canada and working on a new record in Nashville.
