A powerhouse of energy, channeling the grit and sweat of 70s rock Goldminds is a meeting of experience and exposure. A four-piece shooting straight from the hip, Goldminds waste no time in conjuring their own breed of formidable chaos. Drawing power from her femme consciousness, singer Courtney Constantinou is unapologetic, lawless and commanding, delivering her message with finesse and fury backed by the bite of blistering guitars, monstrous grooves and gunfire rhythms lay the foundation for mammoth live shows that grip the attention of audiences.
With the arrival of COVID-19 stopping the rock n roll industry in its tracks, the band circled their cages like hungry lions waiting for their next meal. The band released their Australian Music Prize-nominated debut album SIGNALS mid pandemic and are about to feast on series of live shows to support its release
There’s a good chance that if you were to ask any fan of Aussie rock about just who was leading the charge, they just might return with the name Goldminds - Rolling Stone”
“There’s a chance it might just be one of the year’s best records, and after months of waiting, Goldminds officially release their debut album, Signals - Tone Deaf”
“There’s not much about Melbourne band Goldminds that gives away that they’re making music in the present day. You could sandwich them in just about any vintage hard-rock compilation, or even a garage-rock revival playlist, and listeners wouldn’t so much as bat an eyelid - NME

Just over a year since the release of her second album, today Ali Barter shares her new single ‘Twisted Up’. An anthemic ode to feeling reckless, shoddy haircuts and rash decisions, Barter’s one-two punch of candied vocals and middle-finger-in-the-air lyrics sees ‘Twisted Up’ as a fantastic return to form.
The new single was written by Barter in LA during her debut US tour before COVID-19 forced her back to Melbourne to isolate. While she was in the US, she linked up with producer Harlan Silverman (duckwrth) to help bring ‘Twisted Up’ to life. On the track, Barter explains ‘I wrote this song in LA in February 2020 before the world fell down. I was feeling really weird, like I wanted to run away or blow something up and this song is about that feeling. It’s crazy to think what happened since this song was written and how timely it was.’
