Melbourne's much loved slacker-pop group, the impeccably named Scott & Charlene’s Wedding, are back with not so much a brand new album, as a generation’s glimpse of love, home-sickness, basketball, alienation, rock ‘n’ roll and all things that matter. Any Port In A Storm is fated to become your essential backdrop to the summer of 2013. The brainchild of the amiable and unashamedly charismatic Craig Dermody, this new record consists of entirely new material, recorded with Dermody’s new band in a completely different corner of the globe to 2010’s debut, Para Vista Social Club.
Having uprooted from Melbourne, Australia to New York City, the Big Apple has replaced Melbourne as inspiration for this latest set of trials and tribulations. His heart-on-sleeve lyrics reveal tales of everyday Dermody life, somehow more absurdly unhinged, humorous and poignant than the lives of his peers. This is made all the better for taking place in the middle of downtown Manhattan, a place supposedly built on dreams and ‘making it’.
The Scott & Charlene’s bandwagon has already clicked into gear, with acclaim and plaudits from Pitchfork, Spin and The Quietus, features in articles in the Guardian and Independent, as well as international radio support and a spot on this year’s Glastonbury Music Festival.

Freya Josephine Hollick is an Old-Timey, Country, Folk singer/songwriter from the Victorian Goldfields. Hollick has always had her roots in folk music, coming to earlier 20th Century folk, blues and country music through a hunger for knowledge of how and from where modern music evolved. Freya has followed a path back to a time that holds true to her voice, her songwriting and her story. Hollick's voice has been described as haunting, as both powerful and fragile, it is truly a voice unlike any other, and one that is of another time. And dangit, she is one of our favs and you shouldn't miss it.

Skyscraper Stan returns to Major Tom's and he is bringing a secial treat, Sydney duo Diamond Duck.
A rich tapestry of plucked strings, lush vocal harmonies, original song-writing and a diverse range of influences from The Beach Boys to Bach...“Evoking the close harmony singing of the Everly Brothers and Simon Garfunkel, Diamond Duck explore an unusual, almost twisted sound in their accompaniment while maintaining a sweetness in their vocal delivery...there is something a little off kilter and it’s absolutely delicious” - Timber & Steel.

Following the recent success of his Australian ‘Midnight in Motion’ Tour which saw award winning blues/soul troubadour Shaun Kirk selling out numerous headline shows across the country; the one man dynamo has announced a stack of new tour dates across Australia & New Zealand to launch his soon to be released new single ‘Howlin at the Moon’.
Kirk’s first release in over 3 years will come off the back of what the 29 year old describes as a “quarter-life crisis” ignited by a US Record Deal that fell through in questionable circumstances back in 2015. Determined to overcome his disappointment and grow from it, Kirk has since spent countless hours soul searching and honing his skills as a writer and musician inside his home studio on the outskirts of Melbourne; prevailing with a fresh new sound and groove to carry him into the next phase of his ever evolving career.
Recorded and co-produced with Nick Huggins (Jen Cloher, Fraser A Gorman, Skipping Girl Vinegar) at A Pocket Full of Stones Studios in the sleepy beachside town of Point Lonsdale, Victoria and co written with ARIA Award Winner Joel Quatermain (Eskimo Joe) – ‘Howlin at the Moon’ is set to drop in early 2018.

Luke Sinclair is an artist of integrity and a generosity of spirit. He continues to forge a well-respected name for himself across Melbourne's musical landscape, first through his work with alt-country trail-blazers The Idle Hoes, and now with nationally acclaimed Americana outfit, Raised By Eagles.
"In just a couple of years Raised by Eagles, fronted by chief songwriter Luke Sinclair, have delivered two of the finest alt-country albums you'll find in many, many miles. In the great tradition of long-established bands like Wilco, but in a fraction of the time... – Martin Boulton, The Age
Exceptional songwriting is what has always stood out first and foremost for Melbourne artist Sean McMahon. Across a handful of albums to date, he has honed a sound all his own. His melodic and poetic style of songwriting is loaded with confessional narratives and vivid storytelling that explore and exploit familiar themes, however it's his ability to craft a song and his warm, rich and honest vocals that set him apart.
"Sean McMahon continues his run of world class albums with his latest outfit the MoonMen. Over the past decade he has been responsible for delivering some of the tastiest guitar playing and songwriting around. McMahon's tone and touch are always exquisit." - Rhythms Magazine
